AWS Activate credits for CI Ventures startups

As a startup supported by CI Ventures, you can apply for AWS Activate credit packages to help reduce costs and increase your speed to market.

AWS Activate gives eligible startups a package of AWS credits, technical guidance, and support to build and scale on Amazon Web Services. Startups active in a CI Ventures programme apply through our provider status, which unlocks the largest credit tier available.

The process

Here's how to claim your credits

  1. 01Check that you meet the AWS Activate Portfolio eligibility criteria.
  2. 02Log in to your AWS account where you'd like to receive credits (or create one for free - ensure it's accurate, as credits can't be transferred later).
  3. 03Apply for AWS Activate.
  4. 04Use the CI Ventures Organization ID from the key detail panel to affiliate your startup with us for maximum benefits. It is case-sensitive and must not be shared externally.
  5. 05Complete the application form in full and submit - it takes only a few minutes. Ensure the information matches your AWS account.
  6. 06Look out for a confirmation email from AWS; processing takes 7-10 business days on average.
